You may have noticed we’ve been a lot quieter than usual recently, and unfortunately, we now need to share some news about a difficult decision we’ve come to about the band.
After an amazing 5 years performing together, we’ve decided that it’s time to call it a day. As you can imagine, this decision hasn’t been an easy one, but we are all increasingly busy with other projects, and life in general, so have been finding it difficult to give the band the time it needs.
We will very much miss performing together, but want to draw a conclusive line under this amazing experience, knowing that we are incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved.
There have been so many highlights – Glastonbury, (obviously!) playing the Dermot O’Leary theme tune on Belleplates for BBC Radio 2, and gigging in a bizarre range of fabulous venues, including a ship, a launderette, a museum and a hairdressers – to name just a few!
And, most importantly, there has been all of you with us along the way, supporting us, and helping to make everything we’ve done possible.
We would love for you to join us for our farewell gig on Sunday 4th of September at Cluny 2 in Newcastle. Our pals Gilmore & Roberts will be playing too, and it will be a great night, so we really hope you can come.
We’re sure we will see you all again, as we pop up in various other music projects here and there, but in the meantime, we really just want to say a massive thank you for coming to our gigs, buying our music and supporting us – we appreciate it so much.
